All Sorted: The LEGO Podcast for Which Your Ears Have Been Searching

All Sorted: The LEGO Podcast for Which Your Ears Have Been Searching

Don't get me wrong. I love LEGO.  As a fan of LEGO I want to be building LEGO models at all times. This highlights one of the major flaws inherent with all LEGO products. You can't interact with them while driving.  Luckily, Jeff and James from breakingdads.com are there to right LEGO's wrongs with their car-friendly all-things-LEGO and wonderful podcast All Sorted. After all, when you can't build with LEGO at least you can listen to LEGO.  Ah, the grüschteling.  (What is grüschteling?  Listen to All Sorted, Episode 15 to find out!)

I stumbled upon All Sorted after a quick podcast search using the keyword...yes...LEGO. Surprising, right?  Even more surprising - there are very few LEGO podcasts out there.  LEGO sets and MOCs are typically a highly visual series of creations which require a lot of images to truly appreciate.  This being the case, it doesn't make any sense why there aren't more aural-only podcasts out there with no visuals to better represent LEGO...wait...I think I'm beginning to understand why there aren't a ton of LEGO podcasts now.  Luckily, All Sorted rises to this challenge and, with the help of very well researched data, colorful descriptions, and a lot of improvised LEGO boardroom-meeting skits, is able to provide a fantastic collection of ear-candy podcasts which any LEGO fan would love and want to aurally devour - which is what I'm doing right now.  I especially appreciate episodes which focus on very specific elements of LEGO history.  For instance, there is an entire episode on the history of noses or the lack thereof on minifigures and, yes, it's fantastic.  I should also mention that Jeff and James provide wonderful visuals for each episode on their website, so it is possible to take a visual journey through each episode as well.

If you're a fan of podcasts and looking for the quintessential LEGO-listen [and you're also tired of not being able to feed your love for LEGO while driving], then All Sorted is the sonic LEGO-landscape for you.
